Little White Dresses for the Bride-to-Be

It’s hard to believe that a year ago I was preparing to get married. As a bride-to-be, I used any and all bridal events as an excuse to wear a little white dress. I know wearing white isn’t a requirement as a bride-to-be, but I loved the excuse to hunt down cute white dresses. Plus I loved being able to wear a nice white dresses since you can never actually wear them to weddings!

Above, I’ve highlighted a few of the little white dresses I wore for my wedding festivities. The scallop dress in the top middle picture I wore to my bachelorette part. The dress next to that I wore to my rehearsal dinner. The dress in the picture of Patrick and I was for my engagement photos. And finally, the white pleated dress in the bottom right corner I wore for my shower. The dresses on the top and bottom left corners are from this year so I didn’t wear them to any bridal events. However, I think they would be perfect to wear to a shower! If you’re interested in viewing the original posts where I featured each of these dresses, here are the links from left to right: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6.

As a fall bride, I found that there weren’t many people promoting bridal attire. It seemed like only spring brides got all the attention. So, since I was a fall bride, I wanted to share some of my current favorite little white dresses for all the brides-to-be out there. I’ve picked out options for engagement photos, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, and showers below.

Also, don’t think you can’t ever wear these little white dresses again! You can see how I already rewore my bachelorette dress here and how I styled my engagement dress for the holidays here. I actually just wore a little white dress for our newborn shoot this morning, which I’ll be featuring on the blog soon. Maybe I just have a thing for little white dresses 😉
