If you can’t already tell from my blog, pink is my favorite color. I’ve always felt like it’s a a color that can be worn year round (as you can see here, here, here, and here), so I’m happy to see that it’s making a strong showing this year in fall fashion! Today, I’m sharing how I’ll be wearing these pink Old Navy shorts as we transition from summer to fall.
Here in Atlanta, fall is still pretty warm. I usually keep my shorts out well into October so I know I’ll be getting plenty of wear out of these. To transition them into fall, I threw my jean jacket over this sleeveless ruffle top and swapped my sandals for flats. For another transitional look, I would also style these with a cream colored sweater and scarf. In order to incorporate a more traditional fall color, I love combining pink and army green together like I did here. So I could also see myself pairing these shorts with a top like this.
From pastel pink sweaters and blush colored booties to rose gold accessories and hot pink skirts, there are so many great pieces in so many different shades this season! How cute is this blush motorcycle jacket?! And what about this pink sweater with the bows – isn’t it darling?? The great thing about these pink pieces is that they’ll transition right from winter to spring as well – you can take that jacket and pair it with a white dress in early spring or the sweater with denim cutoffs.
