Nursing friendly clothing items are not something I thought about while I was pregnant. I guess I was too worried about maternity clothes that I wasn’t thinking about nursing friendly clothes! Turns out, if you’re breastfeeding and want to go out in public, you need some clothing items that make it easier to breastfeed in.
While I have found a few nursing specific items that I like (see this dress here), the majority of pieces I’ve invested in are regular clothes. They are just what I like to call “nursing friendly,” like today’s shirt dress. I’ve found that there are a lot of cute shirt, button front, or wrap dresses that fit the nursing friendly bill. I’ve rounded up ten of my favorites for fall below.
Even if you aren’t a nursing mama, these are still great dress options for fall! I’m a big fan of dresses year round and love pairing them with boots or booties in the fall. All of these would look so cute with either.
I bought today’s dress shortly after I had Andrew back in June so it’s definitely more of a summer piece with its white color and linen material. However, since I’m a big believer in styling more with less, I transitioned this dress right into fall. I simply added a light weight scarf and my favorite green cargo jacket!
I’ll be sharing my favorite nursing friendly pjs and other clothing pieces in the coming weeks so be sure to check back in if you’re a nursing mom!
One last thing I have to mention is my Fawn Design diaper bag. I’m obsessed with it! It can be worn as a backpack or tote and has six pockets inside for organizing everything I need. Patrick is still upset that I chose the pink one, but I couldn’t help it, pink is my favorite color 😉 I’ll also be doing a post on my favorite mom products in the coming weeks. And, this diaper bag is at the top of that list! Happy Friday!
