Today’s look is one of my favorites. While I obviously love all the outfits I post on Midtown Magnolia, I love looks like this one because it’s an outfit I would wear every day if I could.
First off, I’m obsessed with boyfriend jeans. I’ve never been a fan of tight fitting clothing and while I do still wear skinny jeans, I would choose boyfriend jeans 9 times out of 10. The loose fit makes them so comfortable and all the pairs that I’ve owned have also been the softest denim!
While I like the fact that boyfriend jeans aren’t fitted, it also poses a problem in that I don’t want to look boyish! Since I still want to feel feminine, I always opt for extra girly accessories when styling boyfriend jeans.
Today, I chose my pink ruffle sleeve top (last seen here), a delicate gold and pink necklace, and my gold pointed toe flats, and I love how it turned out! Another dressier option would be pairing boyfriend jeans with heels and a silk tee like I did here.
Like I said, these jeans are my favorite so you’ll be seeing additional ways that I styled them on the blog soon! This pair in particular is from Old Navy, runs true to size, and is less than $40! If you’re in the market for some boyfriend jeans, I highly recommend these.
It’s all in the details…
