As most of you know, my son, Andrew, was born 5 weeks early so I was not prepared for his arrival. If I had been prepared, I would have 1. packed a hospital bag. And, 2. It would have included at least a couple nursing friendly pajama options. Thankfully, after the first night, my mom made a quick Target run and picked up a few pairs for me, specifically options 4 and 7 above. I absolutely love these pajamas. After I left the hospital, I ended up buying them in every color and have worn them out! They can’t be beat for the price ($19.99!) and for how soft they are.
As you’ll see, these aren’t officially nursing pajamas. They are simply pajamas that button all the way down making them nursing friendly. Even though I loved my Target pajamas, I thought I would order an actual pair of “nursing pajamas” to add to my options. This was a mistake. I absolutely hated this pair! They were way more complicated / harder to nurse in. I would have to pull down on and hold the fabric in place so that it didn’t get in Andrew’s way. #notworthit
Since I loved my unofficial nursing pajamas from Target, I thought I’d share my favorite “nursing friendly” pajamas. You can’t have too many pajama options as a new mom. You’ll need a few for the hospital and a few to live in when you’re home bound and nursing constantly those first few weeks! You may not see anyone or shower, but at least you’ll look cute, and feel somewhat put together, in your new pajamas 🙂
