I mentioned in this post that these green cargo pants from Loft have become my favorite pants. They are so comfortable, the material is soft, and they’re not too fitted. Plus, they pair well with a number of my tees, blouses, and sweaters. Even though they are green, I honestly treat them like a neutral. They look great with other neutrals – grey, tan, black – with chambray, and even with light pink. They are the perfect alternative to jeans, and it’s hard not to continuously reach for them day after day!
Since it’s started to cool off in Atlanta, I love pairing them with all of my favorite sweaters. This Target sweater, which I last featured here, is a very light grey with the faintest colored speckles, making it an easy neutral that goes with almost anything. Pairing it with these cargo pants makes for a perfect casual and cozy weekend outfit. It’s ideal for running errands, lounging around, or even grabbing brunch with friends.
When we were still in between seasons, I wore these pants with a sleeveless sweater here and then a tee and pink kimono here. As it continues to get colder, I plan to wear it with a long cardigan and booties. Or, I’ll wear them with a few layers like a crew neck sweater, chambray button down, and blanket scarf. Whether it’s green cargo pants, chinos, or cords, it’s always a good idea to have another pant option besides jeans during the fall and winter months!
