Over the knee boots are a fall wardrobe staple. While I had found a pair of grey, flat over the knee boots that I love (shared them here and here), I felt like I also needed a brown, heeled pair. I had seen a Sam Edelman pair that I really liked, but I didn’t want to pay the $200+ price tag. So, I went to Google, searching for a more affordable option, and stumbled across these Marc Fisher ones on Amazon!
I’ve never ordered a clothing item from Amazon so at first I was a little hesitant. However, knowing I could easily return them, I decide to give them a try. And, I’m so happy that I did! These boots are the prettiest color, a soft suede material, and so comfortable. They hit all the qualities I was searching for in my next over the knee boots – heeled, brown, and affordable!
For their first appearance on Midtown Magnolia, I decided to style them with this knit shirtdress from J. Jill that I featured earlier in the fall. I purchased this dress shortly after Andrew’s birth as I was looking for a comfortable, loose fitting, nursing friendly piece. Now, I still wear it for all of those reasons!
These boots help to transition this dress into cooler weather as does my new favorite scarf for the season. This plaid scarf from Target’s A New Day brand, which I’ve bought way too much from (case in point here, here, and here), is the perfect plaid scarf for fall. I love the colors and also really like that it’s not a blanket scarf as I find those to be too bulky sometimes. This one is easy to throw on for an extra layer of warmth and style. I styled it with a sweater and jeans for a day of travel here.
If you’re searching for the perfect pair of otk boots, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite affordable options below!
