Happy Monday! I’m so excited to kickoff Valentine’s Day week with a special series. Today, Wednesday, and Friday I’ll be sharing different ways to style this beautiful Sezane Arizona skirt. Its obviously perfect to wear all Valentine’s Day week but I especially wanted to show you different ways to style it so that you could see how to wear it beyond this holiday week! Plus it’s a bit of an investment piece which means it was especially important for me to share how to style more with less when it came to this skirt! So, first up, I’m sharing this semi-causal Parisian chic look that would be perfect for the office, a weekend brunch, or a getaway to Paris itself! A girl can dream…
For this Parisian chic look, I went with two classics – a striped tee and ballet flats. This striped tee has been a wardrobe staple for a number of years now. You can see how I’ve styled it previously here, here, and here! It pairs well with just about any bottom – even a bold print – and this red skirt was no exception.
Because nothing screams Parisian chic to me more than a great pair of ballet flats, I opted for a low heeled navy pair for this look. I love how a great pair of flats can make an outfit look so effortless and chic. Not too mention they’re incredibly comfortable. I found this pair on Sole Society and they’re a new favorite pair of flats for me. They’re currently on sale for less than $50 and are perfect for the office or the weekend! They come in two other neutral colors – black and grey. As an FYI, they do run a 1/2 size large.
To finish this look off, I went with my not-so-basic leopard print purse that I can’t get enough of (last seen here)! I’ve always treated leopard as a neutral and thus wasn’t afraid to pair it with stripes. I love how it adds a more fashion forward touch to this otherwise classic look.
Be sure to check back on Wednesday to see how I style this Sezane skirt for cooler weather and then Friday for a very casual look, perfect for spring and summer!
