I don’t know about you but this time of year, I’m always so over winter clothes! Winter already isn’t my favorite time of year for style so by the time February rolls around I’m ready to bring out my favorite spring pieces. Since that’s typically not practical, however, I settle for bringing out some lighter, and in this case, whiter, winter items. My goal with this look was to dress warm while lightening things up to beat the winter blues. I opted for shades of white and grey plus pops of pink and I just love how this winter whites look turned out.
Remember how I said here, here, here, here, and here how I love wearing white jeans year round, especially in the winter?! Well, this look is case in point. It seems so silly that white jeans are thought of as a summer item when I would pass out if I wore these in the heat of an Atlanta summer. It’s much more practical to wear them in the winter! Plus, I love how they offer a refreshing change from the typical dark denim worn this time of year.
This grey sweater was a Target find back in the fall (I last styled it here and here) so unfortunately it’s no longer available. I found another grey sweater that’s just as cute and that I would style the same way here. A light grey sweater like this is a staple in my opinion. I am constantly reaching for this piece when I just want to throw on something and not think about it as it pairs well with anything and everything!
Over Christmas, my younger sister wore these Baublebar earrings to a Christmas party and I fell in love with them! She has the white pair which are equally as cute, but I decided to be a little different and go with the pink pair. I’m typically not one to wear big earrings but I’m having fun mixing these into my wardrobe.
For extra warmth and to finish off this winter whites look, I opted for my grey over the knee boots. Before this look, I had previously only worn them with skirts and dresses, but I love well they pair with jeans as well. These are still in stock, also come in black and taupe, and are a great price for otk boots (less then $70)! I highly recommend them!
